Canon launches EOS R50 Mirrorless Vlogging Camera.

Canon has introduced its latest addition to its EOS R series, the Canon EOS R50 Mirrorless Vlogging Camera. The camera comes in a sleek white color and is bundled with an RF-S18-45mm F4.5-6.3 IS STM lens. With its compact design and lightweight body, this camera is perfect for photographers and vloggers who are always on-the-go. It is now available to pre-order for a launch selling price of $799.99. The Canon EOS R50 features a 24.2-megapixel CMOS (APS-C) sensor and DIGIC X processor, delivering high-quality images and videos even in low-light conditions. The camera offers 4K uncropped movie recording with Dual Pixel CMOS AF II at up to 30 frames per second, oversampled from 6K, and Full HD high-frame rate movie recording at up to 120 frames per second.

With Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, the camera covers up to 100% x 100% area, featuring 651 AF zones with auto subject detection and tracking of people, animals, and vehicles using deep learning technology. The camera also offers continuous shooting with 12 frames per second with Electronic First Curtain and 15 frames per second with Electronic Shutter.

The camera is equipped with Advanced A+ Assist, which offers an expanded array of auto-compatible scenes, enabling greater expressive capability in auto mode. It also has a built-in flash for shooting in dark environments or with backlit scenes.

The EOS R50 camera is perfect for vloggers and video content creators, with its movie for Close-up Demo Mode, which quickly switches focus when a product is brought close to the camera. The camera can automatically select and track the subject, making it easy to keep the subject in focus.
