Sony has launched its new lightweight and compact 50mm F1.4 G Master™ prime lens, the SEL50F14GM in the US online. It costs $1299 and is now listed online on Amazon US. It is now available to pre-order and will ship to customers on May 12, 2023.
Sony FE 50mm F1.4 GM SEL50F14GM lens boasts two high-precision XA (extreme aspherical) lens elements that correct distortion and most types of aberration, an ED (extra-low dispersion) glass element to suppress chromatic aberration, and Sony's original Nano AR Coating II that reduces internal reflections that can cause flare and ghosting.
